The first collaboration, \u201cMaking Waves With Suzanne Ciani\u201d, was presented in space-filling quadraphonic sound for the invited audience at British Grove Studios.<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inkolab.org\/wp-ik\/index.php\/press\/\">Electronic Music Magazine, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"the-first-in_kolab-series-was-hosted-in-july-2019-by-british-grove-studios-the-group-spent-two-days-recording-and-filming-what-would-become-a-four-movement-piece-called-in_kolab-making-waves-with-su\"><a href=\"https:\/\/inkolab.org\/wp-ik\/index.php\/studios\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The first IN_KoLAB<\/span><\/a> series was hosted in July, 2019 by British Grove Studios. The group spent two days recording and filming what would become a four movement piece called IN_KoLAB Making Waves with Suzanne Ciani.&nbsp; In December 2019, the group returned to British Grove Studios for an intimate and immersive playback launch in quadraphonic. The album and accompanying short will be released in 2022 and plans are in motion for the next series.<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"suzanne-ciani-a-five-time-grammy-award-nominated-composer-electronic-music-pioneer-and-neo-classical-recording-artist-whose-work-has-been-featured-in-countless-commercials-video-games-and-feature\"><a style=\"font-size: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sevwave.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Suzanne Ciani<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;\"> a five-time Grammy award nominated composer, electronic music pioneer, and neo-classical recording artist whose work has been featured in countless commercials, video games, and feature films. Over the course of her 40+ year career, she has released 16 solo albums, including Seven Waves, The Velocity of Love, and most recently, her comeback quadraphonic Buchla modular synth performance recording LIVE Quadraphonic. Suzanne\u2019s been recognized as Keyboard Magazine\u2019s New Age Keyboardist of the Year, provided the voice and sounds for Bally\u2019s groundbreaking Xenon pinball machine, created Coca-Cola\u2019s pop-and-pour sound, designed Atari\u2019s sound logo, played concerts all over the globe, and carved out a niche as one of the most creatively successful female composers in the world. <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit; The answer was, and is, where it\u2019s always been \u2013 in music \u2013 in the studio \u2013 through collaboration, friends and community.\u00a0 No words can express how grateful and thrilled I am to have made our inaugrual journey with Suzanne Ciani as our sonic guide; and to be sharing this experience with Anil Aykan and Marta Salogni. This really was a dream come true; experimenting and producing music which features the Buchla and Moog sound with Suzanne at the helm &#8211; in quadraphonic &#8211; was an immersive sonic adventure and I&#8217;m enormously proud of the results &#8211;\u00a0 it&#8217;s hauntingly beautiful and the gift of a successful collaboration &#8211; our first IN_KoLAB.<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Katia Isakoff, 2019<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"emerging-composer-performer-anil-aykan-a-designer-and-member-of-the-minimal-electronic-duo-fragile-self-who-recently-released-their-debut-self-titled-album-anils-increasing-nee\">Emerging composer performer\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Anil Aykan<\/span>\u00a0a designer and member of the minimal electronic duo\u00a0<a class=\"link1\" href=\"http:\/\/fragileself.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fragile Self<\/a>, who recently released their debut self-titled album. Anil&#8217;s increasing need for a collective experience and social communication through art led her to a double life between visual arts and music. She is currently exploring the sound spectrum and potential of beats as well as human voice to express both the subconscious and extreme states of mind.\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"in_kolab-was-a-life-changing-experience-during-the-two-days-at-british-grove-studios-i-went-through-the-most-intense-feelings-both-emotionally-and-creatively-i-certainly-came-out-of-i\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>IN_KoLAB was a life-changing experience; during the two days\u00a0 at British Grove Studios, I went through the most intense feelings, both emotionally and creatively &#8211; I certainly came out of it a new person.\u00a0 It was an honour having the chance to work with very experienced and professional musicians, producers and engineers at this amazing historical studio, but it was also an intimidating and challenging process.\u00a0 It took a bit of time to find my way around, but I chose to embrace the feeling of the unknown and\u00a0 rose to the challenge of being out of my comfort zone.\u00a0 As a result I made many new discoveries which will stay with me forever. Certainly\u00a0the playback session was one of the most memorable parts of the collaboration, sharing the outcome with the other creative minds and significant representatives of the music industry was very rewarding. Also standing shoulder to shoulder with such inspiring women in front of our audience was an important symbolic moment.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Anil Aykan, 2019<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"marta-salogni-who-when-not-in-the-studio-producing-mixing-and-engineering-can-be-found-performing-with-her-new-quintet-melos-kalpa-using-tape-machines-loops-and-delays-credits-include-bjork-m-i\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarmanagement.co.uk\/marta-salogni\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">Marta Salogni<\/a> who, when not in the studio producing, mixing and engineering, can be found performing with her new quintet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/meloskalpa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Melos Kalpa<\/a> using tape machines, loops and delays. dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>It was such a powerful experience to collaborate with Suzanne, Katia and Anil at British Grove Studios.\u00a0 I felt the freedom to be able to compose and improvise with my tapes alongside three artists I admire, using the studio as an instrument, seamlessly building soundscapes and architectures &#8211;\u00a0 guiding and guided.\u00a0 The
